National Park Boardwalk

Your destination for incredible dunescapes, Mi’kmaw and Acadian heritage and countless unforgettable views

This easternmost section of Prince Edward Island National Park is well worth the drive out of town! Located 58 km east of Charlottetown in picturesque St Peters, Greenwich is a gem with both natural and cultural heritage themes to explore. Home of the award-winning Greenwich Dunes Trail which winds through fields, woodlands, and over a floating boardwalk where the rare parabolic dune system is revealed.

The long stretches of white sandy beach are a favourite amongst islanders and visitors alike. The visitor centre is open from June 9 to September 14 and presents a series of exhibits to help you learn about and appreciate the fascinating history of this place.
